SHIPPING FOR OUT OF TOWN ORDERS
Your order will be shipped by courier. Some couriers will leave the cover if nobody is home and others will not. If you have a business address available to deliver to you won’t need to be home to receive your hot tub cover.
Examine the packaging carefully upon receipt of your hot tub cover. If it appears to be OK but the packaging looks beat up, mark that on all of the trucker’s bills of lading and get the delivery person’s signature. (keep your cover)
If the hot tub cover is obviously damaged please refuse delivery and contact us. We will look after it! Make sure you mark ‘damaged & refused’ on the bill of lading as the company will not know why. Get a copy and get the driver to sign. Fax us a copy for a claim. Almost all covers arrive safely!
RETURNS
As all covers are custom made we cannot take them back. If the factory erred we will rectify it. With any returns you must call us at 1-888-227-0004 for an authorization number otherwise we will have no way of tracking the product and will not be able to credit you.
> No returns after 30 days.
> Must be returned in original packaging to be resold as new.
> Charges of shipping to you and a $15 handling charge. You must prepay the return.
WARANTEE
Our warantee is 2 years and covers everything except the following:
* normal aging of hot tub cover
* breakage due to negligence
* excess use of chemicals or ozone
Cover handles are only mean to open and close the cover and not to be used to carry it.
Warantee claim freight charges to and from the factory are the customer’s responsibility.
PLEASE NOTE: If your cover has issues they will show up in the first few months.
On the West Coast of Canada, our company has replaced our covers that have lasted up to 10 years. Using the identical manufacturing processes and materials in our hot tub covers, here are the average lifespans across Canada:
* Lower Mainland British Columbia – 5 to 7 years
* Alberta and Prairies – 4 to 6 years
* Ontario East – 4 to 5 years
Your hot tub cover life is dependent upon a number of factors including:
* subzero temperatures
* thermostat settings. The higher the temp, the harder it is on the cover.
* southern exposure to the Sun
* sliding covers on the ground, standing on laying on hot tub covers
* not clearing snow off hot tub cover
* using shovels to remove ice from hot tub cover damaging the vinyl
With proper, reasonable care your hot tub cover will give you years of dependable energy savings to keep your hot tub running efficiently and comfortably.
On a side note: Some companies offer warantees that obviously are longer than the normal life of the cover. I know of no product that will extend a hot tub cover life beyond the average. Ask yourself how long your last cover lasted. You may also have waited longer than you should. I leave any conclusions to you.
